Ich & Staring at the Sun

"Staring at the Sun" ist das private Fotoblog von Dirk Jesse. Ich lebe seit 1995 in Dresden, bin von Beruf Bauingenieur und liebe die Fotografie.

Einige ältere Aufnahmen hier im Fotoblog wurden mit einer Canon IXUS V3 aufgenommen. Seit Juni 2004 entstanden dann fast alle Aufnahmen mit einer Canon EOS 10D. Gelegentlich (naja, immer seltener) gelangen auch Analogaufnahmen (EOS 50) hier hinein, der Schwerpunkt und der Spaß liegen jedoch bei der digitalen Fotografie. Im Juni 2006 bin ich auf eine Canon EOS 5D umgestiegen.

Warum gerade ein Fotoblog? Weil Fotos dazu da sind, gezeigt zu werden. Weil die Ausstellungsfläche grenzenlos ist. Weil mich die Meinungen und Gedanken anderer Menschen zu meinen Fotos interessieren.

»Staring at the Sun« is the photoblog of Dirk Jesse. I live in Dresden since 1995. I am a civil engineer by trade and I love photography.

Some of the older shots here are made with a Canon IXUS V3. During the last two years I used a digital Canon EOS 10D. Some analog shots will be posted here too but the main focus (and the fun) is up to digital photography. In June 2006 I changed to a Canon EOS 5D.

So why I opened this photoblog? Because photographs are meant to be shown. Because this showroom has no borders. Because I am interested in your feedback to my photographs.
